Alien: Exile | Creation and Creators

To be written today… The original idea for Alien: Euphoria was to simply create a reimagining of the online novel. Our intention was to use this concept to present our team’s creative and technical capabilities.

But the further we explored the project, the more we fell in love with it. What began as a simple marketing and portfolio concept, soon became a mammoth colossal giant of intertwined stories and timelines.

At the time, Alien: Earth had just began its marketing campaign, with short teasers such as ‘The Crate.’ With the recent masterpiece that is Alien: Romulus, we could see that a new life was being given to this wonderful franchise. It was no longer dependent on the Ripley timeline. Creators were finally embracing the universe itself, diving deep and exploring what could be achieved. So this only gave us more confidence that we were on the right track.

So, we too are presenting a new world within the framework of the Alien Franchise. We’ve kept certain familiar aspects and shot for the stars with some new concepts we believe you’ll find intriguing. In fact, we hope you enjoy the story as much as we’ve enjoyed writing it.

Set in 2862, we haven’t retconned any previous works, just left enough time to enable a few evolutions to occur within the universe.

We are publishing five chapters every other week, with other stories from the same and other universes during the weeks between.

We dearly hope this strikes a chord with you. We’d love to discuss and read your comments via Twitter (X) so drop by anytime @AlienPurgatory.com

My kindest regards, deepest thanks and gratitude, for taking the time to read this.

Alien: Euphoria is a story of survival, not just against the Xenomorph threat, but against the elements, the fractures of human nature and the secrets buried in the past. It is a world where multiple cultures and religions coexist, where traditions from across the galaxy have merged into something new and vibrant. The colonists have built a society where kindness is the norm, where people help one another, not because they have to, but because they choose to.

But as the shadows lengthen, as an unknown horror begins to rise from the depths, the true test begins.

Will the people of Sion-Mecca endure, or will their paradise become another lost colony, another whisper in the dark?
